Happy new year!

It is the start of a new year, and that’s always a good time to look back at the last. 2017 was a big year for Wt: we released Wt 4, our shiny new website, and went to CppCon, where I talked about our transition to modern C++.

As always, we’ve also added more features to Wt, like:

We hope that 2018 will be just as interesting. We will kick off 2018 with an introduction to Wt 4 talk at FOSDEM.

Wt 4.0.2

Because there were some build issues with the previous Wt 4.0.1 release, we decided to quickly follow up with 4.0.2, which adds no extra features, but fixes these build problems.

Binary builds for Windows are available on the GitHub releases page.

Wt 4.0.1

We’ve released Wt 4.0.1.

This release mostly patches up a few bugs. We’ve also added some small new features, and one more interesting one. We’ve thought about adding it in 4.0.0 but it didn’t quite make the cut. Now, after Peter Sommerlad mentioned it again after my CppCon talk, we had to add it!

Wt & JWt 3.3.9

We’ve released Wt and JWt 3.3.9. The Wt 3.3.9 release mostly adds features that were previously only available in Wt 4, like the Microsoft SQL Server backend for Wt::Dbo. The JWt release merely consists of bug fixes.
